Laura's POV

Me and Rydel are like sisters....she wants me to have a sleepover at her house so I can meet her family should I go? what if they-

Rydel- (interrupts Laura's thoughts) Laura!!!!

Laura- (jumps in fear) what!?!?

Rydel - have you asked your dad yet?

Laura- (looks down) y-y yes

Rydel- Laur what's wrong?

Laura- nothing (looks up and forces a smile) I just...um.....can we talk later? (looks at her iPhone) its getting late....

Rydel- (stares at Laura with concern) okay just know that you can tell me anything....okay?

Laura- sure (forces a smile) see you later

Laura's POV

I cant tell Rydel what my dad does to me. My life sucks. Every day I come home just to see my dad making out with two different sluts every day. If I dare interrupt their fun, he will bang me until I cry my eyes out. In other words, he Will rape me.  He was never like this before....he changed months after my mom died......my sister went through this before.....but lucky her, she used her money to go to college....now I'm stuck here with the man who rapes, and hits me every day.......if I tell Rydel this, she'll never be my friend again.

I know when Laura is hiding something from me i hav-

Rocky- (interrupts Rydel's thoughts) HEY SISSY!!!

Rydel- hey lil bro

Rocky- (makes a weird face) what were you thinking about? wait let me guess, Ellington!!!

Rydel- (playfully pushed Rocky) No I was thinking about my Bff.....oh!!! that reminds me!! MOM, DAD, ROSS, RIKER, RYLAND, ROCKY!!!

Rocky- I'm right in front of you, you don't have to scream in my face

Rydel- so!?!

(Everyone walked into the family room)

Ross- what sis?

Riker- yeah?

Stormie- sweetie do you need anything?

Mark- yes?

Rydel- so you guys know my Bff Laura right!?

Everyone- no

Rydel- okay guys we've been talking and I asked her to spend the night here so you guys be on your Best behaviour!

Ross- yeah Rocky, be on your best behaviour!

Everyone- ( laughed)

Rocky- real funny....

Stormie- okay goodnight my sweetkins! (kissed everyone's cheeks)
