Part 42 - Preparing For School

You wake up the next morning and you do the morning routine before heading down to the kitchen, when you get there you see medic, soldier and engie in the kitchen
"hi" you say walking in the kitchen with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) following you
"hello liebst" medic says smiling at you
"hi darlin'," engie says
"hello cupcake" solider says
"where did you go last night granddad?" you asked soldier
"i went to meet my old roommate for something" soldier says
"ok" you say and soldier rubbed your hair "where's dad?"
"he's still in his room" medic says "he's got the flu"
"what?! but he said to me he can never get ill" you says
"well now he has" medic says "but don't worry he'll be better by tomorrow"
"ok mom" you say and you carry on with your breakfast routine
as you were having your breakfast medic remembers something
"oh liebst, you have to prepare your school bag, you got to go back to school tomorrow" medic says
"really, its that time already" you say
"yeah darlin' but you will cope" engie says
you sigh then carry on with your breakfast, after breakfast you went to your room and went to sort out your things for school, you grab your (f/c) bag and put your pencil case with your colouring pencils, felt tips and pens in the bag, your (second f/c) lunchbox in and your small teddy in for company purposes
"what you doing (y/n)?" (y/d/n) says
"sorting out my bag for school tomorrow" you say
"oh can i come too?" (y/d/n) says
"no sorry but mom and dad will look after you and (y/c/n) while i'm gone" you explain
"oh...ok" (y/d/n) says and (he/she) sits on your bed sad
you sigh sadly at (y/d/n) then your remembered that sniper was in bed so you go and visit him, when you get to sniper and medic's room you see medic feed sniper soup since he didn't come down to breakfast
"hi dad" you say walking in and over to sniper and medic
"hi liebst" medic says and sniper waves "sniper lost his voice so he can't talk"
"oh... he can borrow mine till he finds it" you say and medic helps you on the bed
"your süß liebst bur he hasn't lost it like that" medic says "the flu he has has made his voice go"
"oh i see" you say crawling over to sniper
"well i go and put this away" medic says holding up the empty bowl that had the soup in it "but i'll be right back" and medic leaves
when medic leaves sniper hugs you from behind then kisses you on the side of the head, he then gets tired so he settles down in his bed and you settle down with him, you then cuddle up to sniper and then both of you fall asleep with sniper hugging you, when medic returns he sees you and sniper asleep and he sighs happily, he went over and gave you and sniper a kiss on the forehead before leaving you and sniper to sleep, medic then checked your room to see if you packed your bag and see what (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) was, he peaks in your room and sees (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) on your bed awake and he also sees you've packed your bag for school tomorrow, he smiles then leaves the room with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) following him, medic,
(y/d/n) and (y/c/n) head to the rec room where everyone was to have a meeting
"well everyone is here now so let's begin" spy says as medic enters with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) behind him
engie sees (y/d/n) and picks (him/her) up to put (him/her) on his lap, scout picks up (y/c/n) and puts (him/her) on his lap
"as we know when (y/n) starts school tomorrow, we have to resume battling" spy says "so make sure she doesn't find out about our job so she doesn't get hurt"
"ok" soldier says
"wow it's been a while since we've been in battle" scout says "but i still remember how to use a gun"
"da heavy gets to use sasha again" heavy says
"and it back to buildin' sentry and dispense for me" engie says
"i get to heal all the team again" medic says
"i get to fly across the map like a eagle" soldier says
"i get to go kaboom and blow everything up" demo says drunkly
mumbles about getting to use his flamethrower again from pyro
"i get to stab so many back again, i missed that" spy says
"and sniper gets to shot off a lot of heads and kill that blu spy again" medic says
"i think (y/n) is going to have fun going back to school, she'll be in year 2" spy says (in the u.k. we do grades in years so e.g. if your 5 you'll be in year 3 and if your 12 you'll be in year 7)
"isn't that the baby years?" scout asked "like simple math and english"
"yeah she's only 6" engie says
"ok" scout says and he strokes (y/c/n) making (him/her) purr "what are we going to do with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) while (y/n) is at school?"
"they can stay in (y/n)'s room while we're gone" medic says "i don't want them to get hurt on the battlefield"
"yeah they'll be safe at base" engie says petting (y/d/n) on the head "sniper, medic, soldier, mine and heavy's birds are safe here"
"alrighty then" scout says "so who's excited for tomorrow?"
"yeah" everyone says and threw their beers in the air
a few hours later medic goes to his and sniper's room to check on you and sniper and (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) is with the other mercs, when medic enters the room he sees sniper lying on his back awake but you are still asleep, sniper sees medic and waves
"hi love" sniper says in a crocky voice
"hallo liebe" medic says walking over "how you feeling?"
"better then this morning" sniper says
"good" medic says and kisses sniper on the forehead while stroking his hair "we got to go to battle tomorrow as (y/n) is going back to school"
"oh beaut, i get to use my rifle again" sniper says and smiles
medic smiles back then looks at you asleep
"she's looks lieb when she's asleep" medic says and strokes your hair
"she is" sniper says and he turns to his side
when sniper rolls to his side you snuggle up to sniper and go into a ball while still asleep, medic and sniper smile then medic goes around and gets into bed, he kisses sniper on the nose then he falls asleep and sniper smiles before he goes to sleep too, a while later you, sniper and medic wake up to scout saying it was dinner time so you, sniper and medic head down and had dinner, after dinner you head to your room and fall into a deep sleep with (y/d/n) and (y/c/n) at your feet.
