Eva's POV

As soon as I heard the message that Ember left for me I called the guys and hurried home. Ember was the type of person to try an bury her problems so if she asked for help, something big was going on.

I ran to the store and got several different types of bandages, since I didn't know why she needed them or how big the injury was, and Rocky Road ice cream, her favorite. Connor and Mitchell were with me and got her baking ingredients since she stress bakes and McKenna went home to check in on her and snuggle her if she needed.

When I pulled into our neighborhood I went to check her house first, after all she had asked me to bring the stuff home. When I got in I saw a huge hole in the wall and a small blood stain on the floor. I quickly ran to my house.

When I got in I could hear Ember's silent tears. She didn't like attention so of course they were quiet but, the amount of heart break I had heard in her voice and tears made my heart hurt. Ember has been through so much, she deserves a better hand in life. I got a spoon form the kitchen and walked over to the couch.

McKenna was cuddling a ball of sweatshirt and tears, poor Ember, I tapped on her shoulder and she jumped up and hugged me, Shit this is bad, she never just hugs someone. I rub her back and give her the ice cream, then I notice her hand. "Did you punch the wall at your house?" she nodded, "Oh honey, what happened?"

Ember started to explain, first she went to the hospital with scrapbooks for her mom. She found out the last thing her mom remembers, which was some accident with a trampoline. Then her mom found out about her dads death and started flipping out about how it was all Embers fault, I swear I will go and smack that women back to 1999 so that she can get a fresh start. Ember told us how she drove home and could barely see through all her tears, and how when she came home she took all her pain and anger at the wall.

I hugged her as Connor wrapped her hand. "I-i am s-s-so s-sorry. I-i-i didn't w-want to p-p-put you thro-through all th-this shit." We all hugged her and gave her words of encouragement, "That's what family is for." Ember hugged us back and whispered, "Th-that is a-all I have ever w-wanted."  We all spent a good half hour hugging, but then Ember fell asleep. Connor and Mitchell carried her onto the couch, not wanting to risk taking her upstairs, while McKenna got blankets. Ember was snuggled really close to me and I stayed of as long as I could. I am not going to let my friend in need down.

Since it was only 7:40 when Ember passed out, the guys and I decided to stay up and watch a movie. We made popcorn and stayed close to Ember. She kept whispering 'I'm sorry' in her sleep, but when ever she did one of us would pet her head to let her know she was okay.  When the movie was done Connor and Mitchell were asleep on each other on the floor and McKenna was asleep in the arm chair. I would've left to go up to my room but Ember had shifted so that she was now on my lap. Instead of risking it and moving her head I curled up and slept on the couch.

About two hours later, so at 1:25 am, Ember woke up scream crying. She couldn't stop stuttering so we all just hugged her until she fell asleep again. We all went right back to sleep right where we were, we didn't want to leave her alone when she could wake up screaming again. Before I could drift asleep again I saw Ember snuggle up to me again, I guess in the battle of love verses fear, love wins.
