THREE MONTHS AGO
I was sound to sleep in my bed when I heard a soft knock in my door. U ignored it but it kept getting louder and louder. Then I heard Lucious calling my name
"Cookie? It's me baby"
It can't be him he' s supposed to be in bed at the hospital. He went through a lot of physical therapy today he didn't say anything but I know he's really tired he was sound to sleep when I left him.
I heavily dragged myself out of bed to see who it was him. I opened the door to see his smile going from cheek to cheek
"What are you doing here Lucious?" I said tiredly
" I came to see you, I can't sleep in that damn bed" He said with sad puppy eyes
I should've told him to go back to the hospital but there's no point of arguing about it because they were just keeping him there 'in case of emergencies' which is code for he is fine to come home but we would like him to stay so we can take more of your money.
" Let me sleep here just for 1 night" he asked me
I let out a deep breathe before saying
"come on in"
He just smiled at me and said
" thank you"
And so we walked in. I shut the door behind us as he enters my apartment, we went through the living room he slowly touched the sofa before I opened my bedroom door. I felt his hand in my shoulder I pushed it away before he could di anything else. Things are just to complicated right now I don't wanna make things worse.
I finally got back to bed resting my head on my soft pillow as he sat in my bed and took a deep tight breathe and I couldn't help but worry.
I asked him
"you sure you okay Lucious?"
He just smiled and said
"I'm fine baby"
"Get that smirk of your face"
"I love it when you're worried about me." he said with a big smile on his face
"Go to sleep grandpa" I said
He lied down on the bed beside laying down to the left facing me as I layed straight on my back. I took a deep breathe a slowly fell asleep.
"good night my love."
It was the last thing I heard before falling asleep.
I woke up to the wonderful smell of cinnamon. God I love cinnamon, I placed my hand to my left and my hand fell straight to the bed. I flutter my eyes open to see that he wasn't there. I slowly got up from my bed. I checked what time it was, 6:30 a.m. I'm such an early person I thought.
I stepped out of my room and heard something sizzlin' from the kitchen. So went to my kitchen only to see him cooking some eggs and greens.
"good morning baby" he said with a smile.
" You ain't gotta cook I got sone leftovers in the fridge."
" I like to cook for you." he said staring at me pretending to be all sweet
" you wanna make me feel special and be all sweet." I said with a smirk
" I made you some good food you just wait." he said assuringly
"It better be, Lu" I said with a flirty smile
He put some egg and greens on a plate with some toast that he just made. He also put some teabags in two mugs and poured some got water into it. I helped him take the food and tea to the table.
I took so the of the eggs on my fork and grabbed a bite. Surprisingly it was pretty good. I was genuinely impressed the last time he cooked for me was 17 years ago and it was toast (which is not really considered cooking).
"you like it Cookie?" he asked
" mayyybeeeee" I said with a sexy smile
He just stared at me so cynically like I was naked and said.
" I should cook for you more. "
He said with a delicate smile
" there's a lot of things you should have done but didn't."
"Did I do anything wrong Cookie?"
He said, confused
I regret seeing but I know it's unfair to do that one he doesn't even remember anything pretty much anything. And I just let those words slip to my mouth
" no lucious it's just....."
I let in a deep breath figuring out what to say next but that came out was.
"Never mind"
" Cookie? " he said with a caring grin
" now it's just not the time that's all I got to go to work you coming or what?"
He let out a deep breath before saying
" of course just I just need to put some clothes on."
He said while walking to my room to pick up some clothes
" Well hurry up"
"okay boss" he said with his stupid smirk.
