Swim

39 3 2

I traveled far
Far and wide
Just to see your face

And I'll sail the sea
'Cause, you know me
I don't like to wait

From the bottom of the ocean
To the surface of the waves
Among all this commotion
My heart has been misplaced
And maybe someday I'll get to see you in the skin
But, until that day I just hope that I can swim

I wondered far
Far and wide
Just to know your name

And I'll touch the stars
And where you are
Will illuminate

From the bottom of the ocean
To the surface of the waves
Among all this commotion
My head has been misplaced
From my place on the shore
I can see the tide has turned
Among all this commotion
My heart has been returned
And maybe someday I'll get to see you in the flesh
But, until that day at least I know that I can swim
