It's a vast
Vast world
Yet somehow I plan to fight
For a place where the stars align
For I know that you'll be there
With those flowers in your hair
And that heart of gold you'll wear
On your sleeve for all to see
And you'll know it's me
For who else could it be?
Who else says these words so sweet?
Words you know that I don't mean
Words I say to make our bitter hearts seem clean
And when our lives are on a screen
You may finally see how you gleam

It's a small
Small world
And in it I am only but, a pearl
Among a world of diamonds it seems
Who, oh so, effortlessly gleam
With lights so bright they set the sky on fire
Burning white with an internalized desire
We lose our minds, the lights fade in
Except in the loss they gleam again
And in their shadow you may see me as your friend
