Towa loved cats and he loved Mikado, so it only made sense that he got himself a cat that reminded him of his lover - Mike-kun was the most adorable pet there was. Covered in black fur with huge eyes that made Towa do whatever he desired. And the boy wanted many things, most notably food and cuddles. Just like Mikado, except that whenever he cuddled with Mikado it lead to sex or they were have post-sex cuddles.
Mike-kun had that nature where even though he fucked up on so many levels - or just simply stepped in his milk - he still was a lovable bastard. Everyone loved him, and everyone treated him like the king he was.
Except for Mikado, he hated the cat for stealing his Towa away.
