Was being with the most popular man in his high school really worth it? The more Towa spent thinking about it, the less he wanted to stay with Mikado. He didn't like being belittled which naturally happened whenever he stood next to him, people not believing him when he said they were together and then when Mikado finally made it clear to them that yes, they were a couple, it would still be disbelief - was he just fooling around with them? Why would Mikado be with him? And to add insult to injury, Mikado wasn't the best boyfriend either. He loved him, sure, but staying with him had no benefits whatsoever - yeas, Mikado was rich but that was never something Towa concerned himself with and being with Mikado only made Towa feel worse about himself.
