Towa wasn't all that sure in how reliable his boyfriend was as he never gave away where he was and what he did. Given everything and all, Towa didn't even know him all that well, he knew virtually zero about his boyfriend, especially his past. And yes, he knew he shouldn't care about it, but it's just that h knew nothing about it and that the past was what shaped Mikado into who he was now - so it's not as if it was unimportant?
Though, he barely knew the Mikado of today, much less alone the Mikado of the past.
