otherhearted is something that is often confused with therianthropy. while they are similar, they are not the same thing.
to be otherhearted is to identify with the animal as opposed to identifying as the animal.
if there is an animal you share certain traits with, a lot of people are quick to assume they hold kinship with that animal whereas a lot of the time they are just otherhearted.
