Chapter 11

~~skipping a day~~

General Pov:

They made a quick silent ride to the Cahill mansion after Dan got discharged.

Nellie was busy making food and Fiske was busy is Switzerland. Oh they hadn't told him about the latest stuff. Poor guy.

Nobody (ha! Nobody) was in a good mood. Everything was gloomy.

Suddenly, Dan came in- looking like he had been crying- clutching something in his hands.

"Amy!" He cried.

"Dan, what happened?" She went towards him and caressed his cheek.

He opened his fist and she gasped.

In it were a mob of blonde hair.

"I am becoming old so soon! Even Fiske isn't bald." Said Dan.

"Shut up Dan!" Amy said and punched him the arm. He winced a bit, but still grinned.

She sighed. Immature brothers!

"When will you stop being immature Daniel?" Natalie voiced her thought.

"The day you stop wearing Jimmy Choo." He replied giving his cute lopsided smile.

She sighed and said,"why am I with you?"

"Oh, because I am incredibly attractive?" He said smugly.

"Oh please." Cue eye roll by the teenage Prada modal of the year.

Amy laughed in the background and Nellie shouted from the kitchen,

"Both of you- Dan and Nat- no making out in front of me. Clear?" She was clearly hiding laughter.

Ian came into the living room looking confused. (-_-)

Natalie lightly nudged Dan to get out of the scene with her and Nellie went back to her work.

"Umm...so what's up?" He asked awkwardly.

"The sky?" She said smiling a bit at his baffled expression ," kidding. Nothing much."

"Okay. Why did everyone leave?"

"Dunno"

"You know love-"

"-don't call me that"

"-Amy, I am really sorry about the Korea-"

"-don't remind me of that. Please"

"Amy listen to me. I was naíve that time. Isabel was practically controlling me. I didn't know what I was up to..and the kiss wasn't a show. It was real. I love you Amy, I really do! Please understand." He said at last.

Tears threatened to come out and she let them fall.

"How do I know that you are genuinely sorry?"

"Trust me love."

"I think I am gonna puke." Dan said from behind the curtain.

Wait what? Behind the curtain?

"Shut up Daniel." Natalie said and punched his hand playfully.

"They are so cute together." Ian said, which surprised Amy.

"I know right." She said and took his outstretched arm.

"Let's go to the garden."

"Okay."
