I wasn't a bookworm
And surely not a kool kid
There wasn't such a thing as a nerd back then
Dr. Seuss's word nerd just really hadn't caught on...
I had friends
Some bookworms
Some kool kidz
I just slid in wherever I could fit in
To the bookworms
I was like one of the kool kidz
To the kool kidz I was like one of the bookworms
I guess I started this trend in my life way back then
Not a part of the mainstream
Not a part of the outcast
Just living life on the fringe
