I get up after awhile and go to the door to see if it is open. He let me come upstairs one time. The layout is simple, from what I saw.
Outside this door are creaky wooden stairs that open into a kitchen that looks like it is from the 1960s. Across the hall is the living room and another room at the end of the hall I assume is the bed/bath. The only door I know of is in the hall by the living room door.
He let me upstairs the first night. Told me if I was good I would be able to come upstairs sometimes and just relax.
I squat in front of the door and try to pry the door open.
And it does.
