Zach was lounging right outside the cafeteria when an infuriated Daniel burst past the cafeteria doors. He glanced up at the hall clock. There was still 20 minutes left of their Lunch/break period. He stuffed his phone in his pocket and chased after Daniel. He saw him disappear through the bathroom doors and began to pick up the pace until he heard the cafeteria doors open again.
He glanced back and saw Anahi and Jonah talking. He glared at her. How could she go and flirt with Jonah, when her best friends was upset right now.
He shook his head and walked into the boys' bathroom. He saw Daniel pacing back and forth. His fist would clench and un-clench.
Daniel paused when he saw Zach. He walked right up to Zach and hugged him tight. Zach was shocked for a moment but then wrapped an arm around the older kid. And thats When Daniel broke.
He sobbed onto the younger boy's shoulder.
He cried for not telling Anahi sooner.
He cried for developing feelings.
He cried for the best friend he was already slowly losing.
He cried for he lost the love, that was never his.
