"Hey baybay!" I said standing on my knees

"Yes?" Jeff laughed walked into the living room

"Will you run to the store for me?" I asked swaying

"For real?" He asked placing his hands on his hips

"Mhm" I said wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him

"Fiine tampon girl" he laughed kissing me again

"I love you!" I said flopping on the couch

"I love you too" he whispered then kissed me again

He left and my phone started ringing

"Hello?" I asked into my phone

"H... Hey Kat" I knew that stutter anywhere

"Justin! Oh my god! How are you doing Mr. Big-shot?" I asked

"I'm good" he laughed "my stutter is basically gone" he said the words flowing out of his mouth

"That's awesome Justin!" I said

"So how's your baby? She's like six months now right?" He asked obviously not knowing what had happened

"Umm she died, she didn't even really get a breath in." I said

"Oh, Kat I'm so sorry I swear I didn't know I... I wouldn't have e... Even said anything" he said

"It's okay" I said "it was sweet of you to ask about her."

"I'm sorry Kat." He said "that must have been awful for you"

"It was" I said "but we're doing better. Jeff's really amazing." I said smiling a bit

"Good... Is he there?" Justin asked

"No you jut missed him, he just ran to the store" I said

"Oh, well I want to come down and see you guys."

"I'd love that Justin"

"Good" he said

And just then there was fast and hard knocking in the door

"Hold on someone's at the door" I got up and walked to the door opening it to see a cop

"Are you Kat Jeff's wife?" He asked

"Yes I am." I said panicking "wh... What happened?" I asked

"He's been shot. He's in the hospital right now." He said

"Justin I have to go." I said hanging up after

I started crying "I'm going to give you a ride to the hospital so you can see him" we both walked quickly to the cop car

We pulled up to the hospital and after asking the woman what room he was in I sprinted to his room.

"Jeff" I said running over to his side

"H-hey tampon girl" he said

"Jeff" I said starting to cry holding onto his hand

"Baby girl please do-on't cry" he said

"Jeff, I can't live without you." I said gripping onto his hand hard

"Yes you can Kat" he said "you can do anything you put your mind to baby. Anything" he said in pain and he was starting to cry

"Baby please" I started

"Kat please shut" then he groaned from pain "up we both know I'm not going to make it. So please just kiss me now." He said looking over at me and crying

I was still crying hard but I leaned in and kissed him softly for a very long time.

"Kat promise me you'll find someone to make you happy" he said

"Jeff, I can't" I said

"Please." He begged "promise me you'll be happy" he said

"Ok" I nodded

"Kiss me one more time" he said

I leaned in and kissed him again. The last kiss we'd ever share. And I cherished every single moment of it.

"Kat I love you. You're my life" he said "I love you" he was starting to talk very very slow

And I was crying harder with every word "I love you too Jeff. I'll always love you." I said

She gave me a small smile then the monitor flatlined. Making me cry even harder. I gripped his hand harder and buried my head in his chest and kept crying until nurses made me leave.
