As I walk outside I see Vince sitting on the porch chugging down a Corona.

V, what's going on with you? I ask

Nothing.

It don't seem like nothing to me and Jean.

I said it's nothing.

I'll believe that when you stop chugging down Corona's.

What's up with you and Jean? Vince asks

If you must know I asked her out.

What did she say? Vince asks

She said yes. Why? I asks

No reason. Vince says angrily, getting up and walking towards his car and driving off as I walked back inside.

Hey. Everything alright? Jean asks as I walk inside and take a seat beside her as she takes a sip of the Corona.

Yeah, Vince is just acting weird. He asked me what's going on between us.

I told him then he got up and drove off.

He's probably in a bad mood because we brought the buster here. I say

Probably. You look tired. I say wrapping my arm around her waist and pulling her closer to me

I been tired since we talked at the beach.

Go up to my room and lie down. I'll be up there in a minute. I want to talk to the buster.

Dom it's fine I can crash on the couch. Jean says
