Chapter 2 / awkward

It was Friday and the bell rang for lunch, Me and Ally had maths together so we walked to the cafeteria talking about the weekend.

We walked over to our table to see Liv all alone
"Hey babes" Liv said looking up from her phone
"Hey Liv" we said in sync
"Did you hear about the party at Nashs?"
"Yeah, tomorrow night?" I asked unsure
"Yeah, I'm telling my mom I'm staying at yours"
I laughed "okay"
Livs parents were pretty strict hence the reason her and Nash weren't dating

The other girls joined us and we all started talking about what we were gonna wear, before the guys showed up

"Yo" Matt said standing behind Ally putting his hands on her shoulders
"Hey guys" we all said
"Party this weekend?" Hayes asked looking at Georgia and we all nodded while eating our food

"I invited the twins" Nash said randomly
"What?" I asked confused
"I was talking to them in science and Grayson said he broke up with his girlfriend recently and I don't know, I felt bad like we should involve them"
"If they wanted to be involved they wouldn't of ditched us" I say kinda angry, I don't know why but I was really hurt when they randomly stopped hanging out with us and dropped us for girls and sport
"Whoa, why so angry" Nash said
"I'm not angry, it's just they probably won't even come so what's the point inviting them?" I say calmly
"Even if they don't come, at least I invited them" he replies giving me a confused look

We all sat there awkwardly eating our food before I stood up
"I gotta get to class early I have Mr. Sandwood and I've already been late to his class 4 times this term, once more and I have an afterschool" I smile sarcastically
"Byeeee" they all said before I walked away
"Text me" Ally yelled

I knew they'd start talking about why I got so defensive before over Nash inviting the twins but I didn't really care.

I walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror before pulling out my Chapstick and beauty blender to touch myself up.

I took a selfie of me in the mirror with a dreaming emoji and a pizza emoji and sent it to Aaron. I was reapplying some mascara when Grayson ex girlfriend Vanessa walked in with her friend Kate, they glanced at me before continuing their conversation.

"And he just broke up with me like that, we were all good and then BAM we're over" she said and Kate nodded like one of her minions
"We didn't even have sex" she said I tried not to look at her in shock

Grayson was known as a guy that slept around, and him and Vanessa had been dating for almost a month so I was sure he had had sex with her.

I sprayed some perfume then popped in a mint before leaving the bathroom, as I walked out I bumped into someone I hadn't spoken to in almost a year, Grayson. The last time we spoke was when my mom forced Grayson to let us drive him home when it was pouring raining. She hated that we weren't close anymore because she always loved having the twins over.

"Uh sorry" he said shyly looking down at his feet after realising it was me
"It's okay" I say picking up my earphones that fell out of my hand

We stood there awkwardly for a minute before Vanessa opened the door to see us there
"Look who moved on quick" she said rudely looking at her minion and they both laughed as they walked away
Grayson mumbled something under his breathe but I could barley hear it.

"You okay" I asked trying to act like I cared, he lifted his head to look me in the eye
"Uh yeah, sorry I bumped into you, I-I gotta go" he said before hurrying away

I was confused but carried on with my day as I normally would
