Chapter 4 / party

It was Saturday morning and Ally and I woke up at 10:30
I groan as I roll over searching for my phone, I see Ally is still half asleep so I decide to go make us breakfast.

I get up and look for the recipe of the pancakes my mom makes, their not that hard to make but I always somehow manage to cook them wrong. Mom was at work so I couldn't even get her to make them for us.

I start mixing and Ally joins me in the kitchen
"Hey Al" I say as she yawns
"Hey hey, did you see this" she says turning her phone around to show me a picture of Grayson's ex girlfriend kissing another guy
"Why would she post that?" I laugh
"I know, like no one needs to see that"

After eating my delicious pancakes we lounge around for a couple hours before deciding to get ready, I hop in the shower washing my hair and shaving
After a solid 30 minute shower I get out to see Ally painting her toenails

"I decided on that" she says pointing to an outfit layed out on the bed
She was wearing my black and white stripped cropped singlet and her white denim skirt with some black thin heels
"You'll be getting with some guys tonight" I joke
"I'm wearing this" I say lifting up a cropped long sleeve black top with a black distressed skirt and my favourite heels that wrap around the ankle
"Ooooo" she says moving her shoulders

We start our makeup and Ally gets me to do her brows and eyeshadow like usual
"Are you staying here tonight babe?" I ask
"Think so, I told my mom I was but if I get any dick then maybe not" she laughs making me fake gag

My mom let me go to parties usually because she trusted me and I always went with Ally and the guys, she trusted the guys because we've been friends since we were 8. Ally's mom was a little more strict but my mom would always swear she wouldn't tell her mom she was at a party unless something bad happened.

After a couple hours we were finally ready, i added my usual jewellery and sprayed my favourite perfume. I texted my mom telling her we'd be home at 12. Matt picked us up after we were done taking a million selfies and we headed to Nashs, a 20 minute drive and it was almost 9
We had had some drinks at mine and weren't completely sober, I wasn't planning on getting shitfaced because it really wasn't a good look for me.

We arrived and the party was huge, Nashs house was pretty much a mansion and I knew every square meter of it because I'd been there so many times. There were people on the front lawn and the house was lit up with lights and loud music.

We walked in and were greeted with a bunch of drunk people, I laughed and tried to move past without getting attacked by some guy.

"Hey ladies" Nash said as he walked us to the backyard to where the fire was and all our friends were
"Hey hotties" the all yelled and whistled as we walked over
I gave everyone a hug before noticing two people I wasn't so familiar with.. Ethan and Grayson.

I look at Ally who seemed to be just as confused at me
I sat down between Liv and Georgia and they filled me in
"We were here an hour before the party started and they came in and it was sooo awkward, we were all just sitting around in silence"

I kinda felt bad, I mean they were obviously just trying to be nice by coming and I know how much they hate parties so it must be a lot for them.

After an hour of us all talking i was ready to mingle with other people, I mean I didn't dress up for no reason
"I'll be back, I'm just gonna go inside and get a drink" I say standing up trying not to fall in my heels

I walk to the kitchen and see some people playing beer pong, I wave to some people I recognise then grab a drink from the fridge, I skull it realising I'm less drunk then everyone else and I need to catch up, after that I head to the bathroom to touch up my makeup

I pull my phone out to see a text from Aaron at the top
Aaron ✨: Yeah, I miss u we need to hang out more xx
As I read it I accidentally pump into someone
"Oh sorry" I slur looking up to see an adorable smile.. Grayson's smile
"It's fine" he laughs
"You okay?" He says grabbing my arm stopping me from walking backwards into someone
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" I say
It goes silent before someone interrupts
"Excuse me" two girls say in bitchy voices pushing past to get into the bathroom

"So you came" I say trying to act normal
"Yeah, E and I thought we need to branch out a little more, we've been in our own little world away from everyone for the past year or so" he says with a fake laugh
"Right, but I thought you hated parties and drinking and stuff" I say looking him dead in the eye
"I.. I do but.." he stutters and I have no idea what he was about to say but I know he wants to change the subject

"So um, what happened with you and uhh what's her name?" I ask instantly regretting it, he came to have a good time and here I am questioning him about his life decisions
"Just didn't feel right" he says bluntly
"How so?" I ask raising an eyebrow trying not to fall
"Maybe we should sit down" he says and I nod
