Chapter 26 / big surprise

2 weeks later

It was finally summer holidays and I couldn't wait to be out of this hell hole. As the bell rang the doors opened and kids poured out running in all directions away from the school, I waited for Gray like usual at his locker when Ethan came up behind me

"Boo" he yelled poking my sides
I screamed and jumped
"Ethan!" I yelled pushing him as he laughed
"Gray said to tell you he has a meeting with coach and to head home without him"
"Uhh" I say slouching my shoulders
"What" Ethan said as he grabbed his bag and we headed towards the exit

"You guys are leaving for LA in two days and I wanna be with Gray until he leaves" I say as I get into Ethans car

E and Gray we're going to LA for a few weeks to do some business stuff and talk about their futures with their channel and hopefully getting into acting, now that they have almost 3 million subscribers they have been thinking about moving to LA but I keep telling Gray he can't leave me and he reassures me if he ever does he'll bring me.

"Wow, your not gonna miss me?" E says acting offended
"No, no I will" I laugh
"Were only going for 3 weeks" he says
"ONLY" I say facing him
"That's 21 days without you guys" I say watching Ethan laugh as he pulls out onto the highway

"You'll be fine" he says as he begins playing music
After 10 minutes he dropped me off at home and I jumped out after thanking him
"Catch ya" he yelled as he drove off

I opened the door and headed to the kitchen
"Hey mom" I yelled grabbing a juice
"Oh my gosh honey, are you excited?" Mom yelled hugging me
"Excited for what?" I laugh
"Going to LA silly?" She says making me pull away from the tight hug
"What?" I say very confused
"You.. going to L.." she stops
"Have you spoken to Grayson?" She asks nervously
"About what?" I ask sitting down at the table
"Oh no, I've ruined it" she says leaning against the bench with her head in her hands.

I'm very confused and have no idea what is going on "what exactly did you ruin?" I ask
"Okay, well if I tell you, you have to promise to act surprised when Gray tells you"
"Okay okay" I say excitedly standing up

"Well Gray asked me about a month ago if I'd allow you to go to LA with the two of them for the three weeks they are there"
My face lights up "and?" I ask bouncing up and down on my heels
"I said yes, of course, I know how you've always wanted to go there and I trust Grayson with you so I told him yes" She says smiling

I get up and hug her tighter than ever
"You have no idea how much I love you" I laugh almost crying happy tears
"Don't make me regret this though" she says pulling away to look me the eye

"Mom, I promise you, you won't regret this"
I run upstairs and begin packing knowing we're leaving in 2 days when I get a call from Gray
"Hey" I say trying to act casual
"Hey baby, can I come over?" He ask
"Sure" I say getting excited for him to ask me

Finally he shows up and I push my suitcase into my closet so he doesn't see it, I hear mom greet him then his big feet coming up the stairs

"Hey love" he says coming into my room and kissing me
"Hello" I say giving him a look trying not to smile
"What's that" he asks laughing as he lays beside me
"What's what?" I laugh
"That smile"
"I don't know, maybe I'm just excited to see you" I say snuggling into his side

"Alright your mom told you didn't she" he says
I sit up quickly "yes" I say excitedly shaking him
He laughs "I knew it"
"You kept it from me for a month?" I say surprised my mom hadn't spilled it any earlier

"Longer than that" he says kissing my forehead
"I can't believe I'm going to LA, especially with the person I love"
Gray looks down at me with a huge smile "I love you" he says
"I love you more" I say kissing him
