"Oh, then you're welcome."

I let go of her and smiled.

Suddenly, the monster disappeared with a loud POOF! and a sizzling sound after.

I screamed really loud, which caused me to morph back I guess.

"Hey mom?"

"Yes?"

"When's my month?"

".... I'm not sure Percy, but whenever it is, we'll be prepared."

Suddenly, the door slammed open, and there was a loud series of footsteps shortly after.

"Mrs. Fay! There is an emergency at the White House and Mr. President needs you and Percy there as soon as possible!" yelled one of dad's security guards.

"Yeah, yeah. We'll be there in a minute."

"Don't be late! This is extremely urgent!"

I scoffed and pushed him out the front door and closed it.

"Alright mom, do you want to walk there or do you want to fly?"

"They said it was urgent, so let's fly."

I turned into a small bird called a Humming bird and began flying all over the place.

Then, my mom summoned a small jet and got in.

"Let's go!!"

We flew as slow as we possibly could because, why not?

When we got there, we landed in the garden.

I morphed back while my Mom got out of the jet and made it disappear.

Then, my mom summoned some nice clothes for us to wear as we went inside.

"Percy! Erika! Where were you!? There were supers in your house!" Dad screamed.

"OH NO! ARE THEY STILL THERE?!" screamed Mom, acting like she knew nothing about this.

"No, they just left. You're safe. For now...."

"Oh thank goodness we escaped just in time."

My mom and I were about to leave until suddenly we were surrounded by guards.

"Don't play dumb, Erika. I know your secret. As for you." He looked at me. "Your time is up, shape-shifter."

"No! N-no! Never! Leave us alone!" I screamed.

I woke with a start.

There was my mom, standing above me, shaking me.

As soon as I opened my eyes fully, my mom began screaming.

"PERCY!! PERCY?! ARE YOU OKAY?!" she screamed, while shaking me.

"Y-yeah.... I'm fine...."

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating on Monday or in a while, and sorry it's short. I was kind of rushed while writing this chapter soooo... yeah.... Sorry.... Also, here's this:
