Aki and Momo never met?

Momo sat on the edge of the library stairs, looking at the sky. The boy sighed, bored as ever. He didnt know what to think of it.
"I wonder where everyone is...." He sighed, getting upset.
Naoki and Kostelo were supposed to meet up with him here, but the two other boys were nowhere to be found.
It took a couple of hours for him to know that his friends stood him up. It started raining and so he decided to walk home.
Out of nowhere, he was covered by the rain. "Hey, this is my apology for being late." A male's voice said. Momo turned around and blushed. It was Kostelo.
"H-Hey its okay!" He said, smiling.
"Naoki got sick and well, I was late because.... I got you these." Kostelo added, his cheeks starting to burn as he held up a bouquet of roses for him. Momo took the roses and hugged Kostelo. He then kissed him on the cheek.
They walked home together.
