What does the heart represent?

As you read in the epilogue, Wayo lost his best friend whom he loved. He did lost his heart. He did stole Ming's heart secretly and store it in a jar.

How did Kit became a victim?

Just like Wayo's narration, he didn't plan on meeting Kit. The male was just a random stranger of whom he carelessly helped. Kit had stumbled on something he shouldn't so he had to be taken care of. Well... almost.

What does the skinning represents?

It represents Wayo's numbness to life.

How is it that Kit, Forth and Phana survived?

Kit didn't die. There was no mention of his death. As for Forth, the car crashing represents Wayo's struggle with Forth. When he lost consciousness, it was because he lost. He thought he won against Forth, but that was all in his mind.

Phana, on the other hand, was never harmed. Wayo was already in the institution when he met the doctor. In Wayo's mind he was killing the doctor but the truth was that he was being treated with drugs. It was his head getting muddled by the meds.
