O! Starry night, rain down your light on me
So I can find my way home in this darkened sea
On this darkened eve of fallen forever’s
Where forever is darkened and stars shine never
O! Starry night why do you hide behind my sails?
The darkness seeps as my power fails
My power darkens as my sails fall
The wind is whipping, the motor stalls
O! Starry night, are you just a dream?
The darkness muffles my curdled scream
A dream of darkness screams in my head
Oh! Starry night It seems you are dead
The stars that darkness will overtake
Shines light on sailors that will never wake.
