Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.

May Allah (S.W.T) guide us all towards the right, ease all our problems, grant everyone good health and best in both the worlds, Aameen. May He (S.W.T) keep us steadfast on our religion and increase our Imaan, Summa Aameen.

This chapter is dedicated to all my beautiful readers who read my book and support me, Jazakumullah Khairan kaseeran kaseera!

On the request of Myloveforart Afrin_22 barshasanam UmraNazish Ahtisaam23 and probably my those silent readers who didn't comment but still wanted to know, for all of you, I decided to write down my chapters on those rulers who disbelieved Allah (S.W.T) like I asked in my previous chapter. As you see by the title, I am starting with Qaarun.
I hope those who don't know his story gets to know of it now, In shaa Allah. Share with your siblings, friends, family members and to all those who don't know this story and may we all learn from his story, Aameen as his story is a lesson for us revealed to us in the Noble Qur'an.

"Surely, Qaarun was of the people of Musa (A.S), but he behaved arrogantly towards them. And We (Allah S.W.T) had given him so much treasures that their very keys would have overwhelmed several strong men. When his people said to him: Do not exult; surely Allah does not love the exultant ones."
(Al-Qur'an, Surah Qasas, chapter 28 verse 76)

Allah (S.W.T) said the next verse of the Noble Qur'an in Surah Qasas, chapter 28 verse 77:

"But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."

Qaarun was a very wealthy man, who lived in the kingdom of Firaun (king of Egypt, during the time of Musa A.S). The extent of his wealth can be gauged from the fact that the keys of his treasury alone were too heavy for strong men to carry. He was an arrogant and conceited man, who disobeyed and disregarded the appeals and warnings of Musa (A.S) and exulted in his wealth to an immoderate degree. Musa (A.S) advised him to use his wealth to help the poor and impoverished people of Egypt, but he disdained every appeal, and continued to create mischief in the land.

Allah (S.W.T) commanded the earth to swallow Qaarun, all his wealth, and all his pomp and palaces. There was a huge tremor, followed by an earthquake and a rupture in the earth, and Qaarun and all his possessions were swallowed by the earth, and in the presence of the people everything sunk before their very eyes. This story of Qaarun is narrated in the Noble Qur'an in Surah Qasas, chapter 28 verses 78-83 as follows:

"He (Qaarun) said: I have received this immense wealth because of the knowledge which is with me. Did he not know that Allah had already destroyed, before him, several generations, who were mightier than him in strength, and who had amassed more wealth? And the guilty shall not be asked for the cause of their sins."

"And (Qaarun) went forth to his people in his pomp. And those who loved this present life said: Only if we had (so much) wealth, as has been given to Qaarun! Verily, he is master of a great fortune."

"But those upon whom knowledge had been bestowed said: Alas for you! The reward from Allah (in the next life) is better for him who shall believe and do good deeds, but none shall attain the same except those who persevere with patience."

"Then we caused the earth to swallow him up and his palace, and he had no forces to defend him against Allah, nor rescuers to help (him)."
