Rectify your sinful souls

قال الله تعالى:
أَلَم يَعلَم بِأَنَّ اللهَ يَرَى

Does he not know that Allah sees
_
Test yourselves.

قال عمر رضي الله عنه:
حاسبوا أنفسكم قبل أن تحاسبوا وزنوا أعمالكم قبل أن توزنوا وتجهزوا للعرض الأكبر:
يَومَئِذٍ تُعرَضُونَ لَا تَخفَى مِنكُم خَافِية

Umar رضي الله عنه said:
"Take account of yourselves before you are taken to account, weigh your actions before they are weighed and prepare for the most important presenting:
Allah says:
"On that the day you shall be presented, no secret shall be hidden from you""
And let us improve.

Imam Abdullah ibn Al Mubarak رحمه الله wrote the following poetry, and how truthful he was...

رأيت الذنوب تميت القلوب

I see that sins cause the heart to die

ويتبعها الذل إدمانها

And disgrace follows continuity of sin

وترك الذنوب حياة القلوب

And leaving sins is the revival of the heart

وخير لنفسك عصيانها

And its better for you to rebel against the sinning

وهل بدّل الدين إلا الملوك

And nobody has destroyed the religion except the

وأحبار سوء ورهبانها

Evil kings, priests and monks.

وباعوا النفوس فلم يربحوا

They sold their souls and didn't profit

وفي البيع لم تغل أثمانها

And in the transaction, the price of their souls wasn't a lot.

لقد وقع القوم في جيفة

The people have fallen into decay

يبين لذي العقل إنتانها

Its rottenness evident for the one who has intellect.

May Allah ﷻ save us from ourselves and grant us forgiveness for the sins we have done and save us from the Hellfire. آمين يا رب العالمين

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu! May Allah (S.W.T) cure all those who are ill, grant everyone good health. May He (S.W.T) Forgive all the sins of the Hayateens and the Murhumeens. May Allah guide the Ummah towards the straight path, increase us all in Taqwa and strengthen our Imaan. May Allah keep us all steadfast on our Deen and die us all as Muslims. May we all live this life correctly, with serving good in this world and sending forth of it in the hereafter.
