Author's Note: This is short, as in super short, but my excuse is that I've already uploaded earlier today and probably will later too... I hope you enjoy it anyway.

"Miss. Danvers." Lena said, out of the blue, lips curling into a smile and one eyebrow raising.
"Miss. Luthor." Kara mimicked, a smile growing on her lips too.
"Not for long." The brunette leaned forwards until she was millimetres from Kara's lips. Then she darted up and kissed her on the forehead instead. It wasn't a quick peck, as forehead kisses usually were, it was lingering and soft and Kara felt her heart speed up as it had the first time they'd met. When Lena pulled away, Kara's eyes fluttered open only to find that her vision was still blurred. She was confused for a moment until she figured out what had happened.
"Wow, now I have to clean my glasses. Thanks a lot." She said sarcastically, taking them off and shaking her head as she used the bottom of her button-up shirt to clean them. Lena giggled (a sound it seems only Kara can coax from her), and took the glasses from Kara once she'd finished, sliding them effortlessly onto the blonde's face. She's had a lot of practice over the years.
"You could say that was a 'steamy' kiss." Lena said, and Kara's jaw dropped to the floor.
"Did you just-?" She asked, and Lena nodded through her continued giggles.
"Oh my Rao, Lena. I'm rubbing off on you!" Kara said, a mischievous smirk on her lips, "I think this might be the first stage of the lesbian-merging Alex always goes on about."
"Darling, I think this might be the final stage." Lena laughed and finally gave Kara that kiss.
