A stack of heavy books rests in front of me. In this small, quiet environment was me sitting by myself screaming inside my head because I kept getting the simplest thing wrong and nothing was getting done. Looking over the rest of my work, there's still a lot to get through.

I look up from my table see the darkness of the street outside the window. I had been here since noon and I'm still not done. The librarian was still staring at her computer making sure everything was right and in order.

My gaze slowly drifts to the side seeing one other person in the area, circling the book shelves, admiring the books that filled them. He looked so concentrated just by looking at stacks of paper held together by rectangles of cardboard, I wish I could be that concentrated.

I sigh deeply, getting back to work. Who knew learning a different language was so hard. (I know it's hard because I'm learning Japanese and it's kinda hard XD)

After a few more hours of painful cramming, I walk back over to the bookshelves and try to put all my books back. The heavy stack of books only just balanced in my arms as I searched for the correct sections the books belonged to.

I attempt to put on of the big books on the high shelf I retrieved it from earlier. I balanced on my tippy toes before I eventually trip over the leg of the shelf sending all the books and myself flying to the ground.

"Are you alright, miss?" I hear an unfamiliar voice ask from behind me quickly followed by the sound of heavy footprints coming towards me.

"Y-Yeah, thanks." I quickly start picking the books up with the strangers assistance.

I look up meeting eyes with the stranger. It was the guy from earlier, the one that was looking at all the books.

"Why would you be here so late, it's like 2am." I laugh while standing up realising that I was shorter than the man. His black glasses rested on the bridge of his nose and his golden blonde hair was messily ruffled and parted in the middle, making it look almost perfect.

"I can ask you the same thing, you've been here for hours, longer than I have." He chuckled reading the titles of the books. "You study English?"

"Yeah I have an exam soon so I'm trying to cram as much information as I can into my dumb brain." I sigh looking around at the bookshelves.

"If you want I can help, I'm pretty good at English so I don't mind helping." He reaches above my head to put a book on the shelf behind me.

"Well I suck at English so I could really use the help." I smile.

We continue talking while putting all the books away and getting my bag. "Want to get a drink? I'll pay." He smiles showing his cute dimples.

"Sure." I follow him out to the hallway towards the vending machine. He puts the money in and retrieves the drinks from the machine handing me an iced coffee.

"My name is Namjoon by the way." Namjoon smiles taking a sip from his tea.

"I'm Y/n. Thanks for the help back there. If you didn't help I'm pretty sure I would have broken all of those books." We both laugh at my statement knowing that it was most likely true.

"Here's my number if you want to meet up so I can help you study, I'm free almost all the time so don't hesitate to call or text." Namjoon hands me a small piece of paper with a few numbers on it.

"Thank you. Oh, I should get going now. My roommate probably thinks I'm dead." I wave goodbye and walk away with a smile on my face.

"See you around." I hear Namjoon call from the hall, I just wave back and head home.
