Being stiles sister, it was always hard keeping secrets. Your brother knew everything, he had police scanners, ways to listen in on phone calls. So keeping your boyfriend Theo, a secret had been difficult.
So it was only a matter of time before stiles found, and when he did he told you, dad. You had been forbidden to see Theo. stiles had told the pack to keep an eye on you around the school to stop you see him as well, Making your relationship difficult.
It was Christmas eve and you hadn't seen Theo alone in almost a 2 weeks. Theo had partly agreed with keeping his distance until stiles and everyone had backed off a little meaning you were lucky to see him once or twice a week now for your secret Meetings.
You sat in your room reading, sat on the window box, pouting still mad at your family not wishing to spend the night with them. You felt your phone buzz with a text from Theo.
Theo: miss you baby xoxo
Y/n: miss you more, I hate stiles, I wish I could see you xoxo
Theo: Our spot ten minutes if you can get out I have a surprise for you xoxo
Y/n yes :) see you soon xoxo
You jumped up off the bed, getting ready. You opened your bedroom door and could hear stiles watching star wars in the living room. You closed the door and went to the window. Looking at the drop to the ground scared you, but you wanted to see Theo and a broken ankle would be worth it.
You grabbed the pipe next to the window climbing out. You slowly started climbing down finding it easier then it looked. Once on the ground, you ran into the woods, you walked to the bridge to meet Theo.
He was already there, stood in the moonlight looking out at the Frozen River. He must have heard you coming as his head turned facing you, smiling as he walked over. Theo greater you with a hug and kiss. "come with me" he said trying to be mysterious. You followed Theo through the woods until you saw a small cabin.
"close your eyes," he said covering your face with his hands. You felt giddy and laughed doing as he asked. You heard him open the door "wait here and no peeking" he said. You tried to listen to what he was doing but only heard footsteps on the wooden floor. A few seconds passed and Theo came back "you can look now" he said his voice full of pride.
The small one-room cabin was lit up with Christmas lights, a small Christmas tree in the corner and a table set with a candle in the middle. Theo looked at the time on his phone, showing you it read 0:01 Am. "Merry Christmas baby," he said spinning you round kissing you.
When he pulled back from the kiss, your eyes looked around the cabin again "you did all this for me" you asked in awe of it all. Theo never answered instead kissed your cheek walking you into the cabin and closing the door.
You sat at the table as Theo lit the fire. He came over asking if you were comfortable and warm. When you told him you were better then okay he smiled. "I'm not a chef so we only have turkey and cranberry sandwiches, sticking with the Christmas theme" he laughed. Next, he pulled out a flask "hot chocolate" he said pouring you a cup.
You and Theo ate, then sat on the bed cuddling up, Theo got his laptop and put a movie on for you both. You sat with him all night watching movies eating sweets. "I know you're angry with stiles and your dad but don't hate them" he randomly said making you look up. "they have reasons not to trust me, and although I will never hurt you y/n, but they don't see that so just give them time" he finished.
You knew he was right, he had done a lot of bad but lately, he'd done a lot of good too, helping with the wild hunt and then the hunters. that still didn't mean you weren't angry at your family for forbidding you to see him. Theo looks at you waiting for you to agree with him. You pout at him "okay ill try not to hate them but its still not fair" you say. Theo smiles at you, "well maybe this will help" he sat getting of the bed going to the small tree. He comes back with a small box "Merry Christmas y/n" he says as he hands you, it.
You quickly open the small box to see a locket inside. It had a small heart on the front and both yours and Theo's initials on the back. Theo opened it to show you a picture of you both, "now even if we cant see each other you can open this and know I will always love you and be with you that way until I can next hold you in my arms" he said. you almost cried at his words hugging him close. "I love you, Theo," you said as you both started to pack up from your secret Christmas meeting.
