I woke up to yelling.
A positive yelling.
Dad!
I quickly jumped out of bed and out of my room. I stared at my dad, his red, glistening eyes. He dropped his luggage as I wrapped him in a hug.
"Dad!" I cried.
"Woah, Lloyd," he said. "I saw you like 3 hours ago."
"Sorry," I reply. "Just the whole getting back together as a family thing."
"I get you."
I show Dad around the apartment. When he sees my skateboard, he says maybe we could do that sometime.
I showed him my favorite skateboading picture I had.
