Chapter 14

Aurora's POV

I heard pecking on my window to find none other then my brothers owl by brother I mean James. Rushing to the window I opened it petting the brown owl and taking the letter from his mouth.

Dear Aurora,
How are you, are you ok, I miss you terribly, I wish you would come home. I at least wish you would tell me where you are. I've tried to talk with mom about not making you go to A mental place if you come back. It's not going well but you never know. I've been good I think I actually may have a chance with Lily I mean of course I've always had one how could she not fall for my good looks and charm. But I think she's actually starting to like me. The guys are good. Sirius is still one with the ladies he says he misses you a lot and actually is sad he can't give piggy back rides anymore for you. Remus is doing great he has his good grades and his books. He started helping with our pranks more since you left. Peters well...Peter. Since you left there's been a hole in all of us. I hope your doing well, right back if you can.

I picked up a piece of parchment and a quill and started writing.

Dear James,

I miss you dearly as well and the boys. I'm sorry but I'm really not going to come back I finally found the place where I really belong. I can't say much but I can say that I am really happy here. I learned how to use a sword maybe one day I can teach you. It's so cool, my sword is black and blue. As for Lily good luck I know she will come around even if it takes awhile. Tell Sirius not to play around with to many girls. And for Remus tell him to eat as much chocolate as he can. I have to go but I will write to you soon.

I folded up the letter and gave it to James bird. "Take this to James" I said and kissed his forehead. It took the letter and flew out the window.  After I closed the window I walked out the door. "Hey Aurora want to hear a joke" Leo said walking up to me. Oh god. "Maybe later Leo" I told him since I was supposed to be meeting up with Piper about now. "Why" he asked me tilting his head raising an eyebrow and putting his hands on his hips in a mocking/joking way. "I'm supposed to meet Piper at her cabin" I told him. "Well I'll walk you there and tell you my joke" he offered and I said yes. "Ok we'll do you know what Tartarus is right" he started. "Yeah why. "Ok well doesn't Tartarus sound like Tartar sauce" he questioned. "Yes" I replied. "Well Percy is the son of Poseidon so he's technically a fish" he said making a fishy face. Puffing out his cheeks and putting his hands by the sides of his face moving them back and forth. I couldn't help but giggle at his fish impression. "And what do you put in tartar sauce" Leo asked. "FISH" he said and broke out laughing before I could answer. I shook my head no, yet I couldn't help but smile. Even if he did call me a fish also without saying that I was the fish ( if that makes any sense). "Ok Valdez it was a fine time with you but I have to go" I said arriving at Aphrodite's Cabin. Leo waved goodbye and then ran off. "Hey" Piper said coming out of her cabin and I smiled at her. "I saw you talking to Leo" she said wiggling her eyebrows jokingly. "Shut up were only friends" I said shoving her lightly making her laugh. "Common I want you to meet someone" she said. "Who am I meeting" I asked her walking next to her. Piper headed towards the big house, not answering me. There I saw a girl with red fiery red hair talking to Chiron. "Hey Rachel" Piper told the girl. The girl turned around to face Piper and smiled, "hey Piper, you must be Aurora I'm Rachel" Rachel introduced. "Hi" I replied trying to be friendly. Rachel looked like she was about to say something but was interrupted by the horn for dinner. "Finally dinner time I'm starving" Piper said and right on time her stomach growled making me giggle. The three of us walked together to the dining pavilion. I headed to the Poseidon table to see Percy already there "where have you been all day" he questioned me. "I was at the cabin and then with Piper just now, where have you been" I asked him this time. "I was with Annabeth" he said with a dreamy face making me smile. I wish I had a relationship like them. I heard a loud crash next to me and slightly jumped and turned to see Clarisse making fun of this little kid. He looked about 11 with brown hair and eyes around 4ft 8inches. "Leave him alone Clarisse" I told her. I heard stories about her but they can't be that bad...right? She snickered looking my way everyone looking at us now. Not many stood up to the child of Ares apparently. "Aw is the newbie trying to be brave" she teased. "At least I don't have the mind of a child and I'm not a bully, being brave is better" I sneered glaring making the hall go out in oos. Clarisse's nostrils flared which is not the best sight to see. She started walking to me from the other side of the room. I slid my wand out a little hidden in my sleeve and aimed it at a giant bowl of mash potatoes "Bombarda maximum" I whispered under my breath  causing all of the food to explode and go all over Clarisse. She screeched whipping the food off her growling. "I'll get you kelp brain" she yelled before rushing off. It was quite for a couple seconds before someone clapped and the everyone started clapping as well. Oh god I made a scene again. I sat down and asked for my food. "My little sister a hero" Percy said with happiness eyes wide. I threw a grape at him signaling him to shut up, and he threw it back.
