-Chelsea-

The church was slightly empty today due to the chilly weather. I look at the clock on my phone, realizing it was almost time for service to start. I turn it off and slide in into my purse

"Hey stranger" I look up, seeing Cody

"Hey" I smile, setting my bag on the floor, making room for him next to me on the pew

"So, I have something to ask you" he says as he runs his pale hand through his chesnut hair

"Okay, what do you want to as-"

"Oh why hello Chelsea, fancy seeing you here"

I knew who that voice belonged to

"Do you mind scooting over a bit, mate?" Louis asks Cody

"Oh, uhhmm- yeah, sure" he hesitantly moves over

"A little more" Louis says, motioning his arms

Cody moves, then gives the British boy a look, waiting for approval

"Little more" Louis says softly, holding his fingers close together "That's better" he says, sitting down next to me.

I then send an apologetic look to Cody, who is now sitting at the opposite end of the pew

He gives me a warm smile

"What are you doing here?" I ask, still surprised of his presence "Not that I don't want you here" I corrected myself "It's just.."

"I was driving through the area...decided to stop in" he shrugs

I give him a look, knowing he wasn't just driving through the area. I asked him to come to church before, but he said it wasn't his thing. I wonder why he decided to come today. I decided not to push further on the subject. I am glad he is at church; what ever the reason.

Church service was only slightly awkward. Louis sat quite close to me. My heart rushing every time our hands would brush..I found that weird because I've brushed hands with guys multiple times...but that never happens. It was almost as if he was touching my hand on purpose, even though I knew he wasn't.

"Well it was a pleasure finally meeting you and having you in service today Louis. I hope to see you again very soon." My pastors wife said as she shook his hand

"There you are" I heard Cody say, before I see him appear next to Louis and I in the foyer. "You ready to head out?"

"Head out where?" Louis asks, raising an eyebrow

"Oh, Cody and I usually go to McDonald's together after church" I reply

Louis became uncomfortably quiet

"..Would you like to join us?" I ask

"If you insist" He smirks

-Louis-

I could tell that Chelsea was beyond surprised to see me at church this morning. I contemplated for hours last night on whether or not to come to Church today, but After seeing her text from Cody, I couldn't let her go to church with him by herself. I don't want her cozying up to a different guy. Especially one that could be competition.

Throughout the service, I kept purposefully brushing Chelsea's hands with mine. My heart pounded each time I did so. Which is weird, because that never happens
