I want to drown in pure, uncensored love
And bask within the glory of its light;
I want to feel much lighter than a dove,
Yet denser than the darkness of the night.
To feel emotions spill from me like milk
And walk the earth with someone hand-in-hand
Is the most joyful honor of them all,
No matter how simple, careless, or grand.
But I feel so unworthy of this love
That quakes the world with its impassioned touch,
So poor and graceless for such things above
The normal passing eyes and fleeting blush.
If I'm to find someone, then let it be,
Somewhere, there must be some love left for me.
