"You going?" It was 7 a.m. Nagito was ready to leave. His luggage in hand.

He turned around to face Hajime.

"Yes." He said quietly. He stared at the ground.

Hajime walked up to Nagito till he was standing before his sight.

He lets his arms rest on the other male's shoulder for a few seconds before pulling him in a hug.

"I will see you again right?" Hajime whispered in his ear.

Trying to swallow the tears away Nagito nodded.

"Hey..." he pulled away and cupped one of Nagito's cheeks. "Don't cry."

Trying to hold back even more he hiccups: "I-I'm not crying."

Hajime chuckled, small tears were also forming in his eyes.

"It feels like we won't see each other for years. But summer vacation is almost around the corner." Hajime said.

Nagito softly smiled. "You have to stay strong without me hun." He giggled.

"Now the only other male here is leaving me." Hajime said dramatic.

They stood there in silence for a few minutes till Nagito took the first step.

"Well, see you in summer."

Hajime nodded.

"I hope I'll see you as soon as possible."

The door softly closed.

"Hope. Huh."

"My hope is....."

He stayed silent.

Sonia was curiously waiting for an answer.

"I don't know."

Yells from outside were heard.

"What do you mean you don't know!" Fuyuhiko yelled.

This time it was Ibukis turn to slap him.

"Quiet!" She tried imitating him.

"I-I..."

Sonia placed her hand on his shoulder. "You knew well from the beginning what you wanted but now you're uncertain right?"

A soft smile formed on her lips.

"Just give us a call when you're certain, allright?"

Nagito gave a quick nod.

"Well, we will see you soon."

With that she jumped out of the window.

___________

"My hope, my hope, my hope, my hope."

Almost at the end of the hallway. The entrance door was already in sight.

He stayed strong and pushed the door open.

A cold breeze greeted him.

"So this was the end."

When he stepped outside Hajime's face popped one time in his head.

"Hope"

His chest burned with every step he took, every step away from Hajime.

Without thinking he let his luggage fall and grabbed his phone from his pocket.

He quickly dialled a number. The phone goes over.

Beep

Beep

"Sonia Nevermind." A voice on the other side of the line spoke.

"It's Nagito."

"Nagito? Oh hi. Are you already on your way?" She asked.

"Yes." Nagito responded. "But I came to tell you that I will be going back."

"Go back?" Her voice sounded concerned.

"Yes, I have finally found the hope I was looking for."

Nagito couldn't see her but he could hear her smiling with the way she talked.

"I'm glad, go for it now. Shoo shoo."

She hang up.

Nagito dropped his phone in his pocket.

He had made this decision way too fast.

But he felt right about it.

He grabbed his luggage again and turned around, facing the school.

"Hajime Hinata, I will see you soon again. My hope."
