Flicker has never wanted a mate although when she realizes that two of the most powerful alphas we're coming to her pack to find her mate she was thinking that she would never have her freedom again if they turned out to be her mates. After some pack members had told her about the things the alphas have done she was planning an escape which didn't work or because they caught her. The alphas at first didn't think of her as an equal and while she kept running away they punished her witch left her in critical state. Nearly suffering the loss of her wolf she vowed to submit to the alphas which took a whole twist into there relationship, not to mention her best friend confronting her feelings for him only to find out he was mated with flickers new girl best friend.
I just finished this book today and it's really cool. At times I wanted to scream in frustration but I also wanted me a Jake and Conner (the alpha twins) but yeah it's a cool book.
