"how was the show?" lainey asked tom as he settled into the car.
"a lot of fun!" he smiled. "i saw some familiar faces,"
"what did you do?"
"i explored and went shopping," she beamed, picking up her water to take a sip.
tom had spent all day at a show for milan fashion week, leaving her to take the day to herself. sure, she still had to take and make a couple of calls, but for the most part she got to enjoy being in italy, even if it was for the day.
"well, i'm glad you had fun," he yawned. "how long do we have until the flight?"
"two hours,"
he nod his head and pulled his phone out of his pocket, replying to a few messages before placing it on the seat beside him. he was exhausted.
they'd arrived in milan that morning, he was rushed to a hotel to be dressed and then he made his way to the show. he had spent the morning there, before heading back to the hotel to change again. from there, he went to another show, and an after party, before he finally got to meet lainey and head to london.
"i wish we could've spent more time here," he mumbled quietly, looking out at the city as they drove through it.
"i guess you'll have to come back when you get the chance," she smiled, her eyes focused on the email she'd just been sent.
"only if you'll come with me,"
she looked up and raised her brow before smiling at him.
