I'm so sorry I'm late but honestly, this week is like a blur.
When was Sunday again? I don't know!
Thanks for all the help! :D <3

~Desiree~
A week. That's how long it's been and yet, my fellow campers refuse to let it fly. Seriously. An Aphrodite Girl won Capture the Flag against a daughter of Athena. That apparently meant a lot to them.
Everyone, except this girl named Drew.
She was on my tail day and night, telling me that I had probably cheated and that I was secretly a spy.
Yeah, she's a bit dim-witted.
The worst part was today, when she spotted the scars on my left arm. "Who draws white lines on their arm?" She had commented, flipping her hair and walking out.
Needless to say, I almost killed her.
But, even though it's been only a week and a half, a lot of changes have taken place.
1) Dylan and I are officially best friends, so are Piper and I.
2) Leo has been avoiding me for a reason I do not understand.
3) Jason will not stop teasing me.
4) I've grown stronger.
The last one was the most astonishing one. I woke up one morning, expecting same 'ol me but nope! A stronger, braver, confident looking girl stared back at me, excessive training having increased her height and setting her jaw straight.
It took a whole hour for the fact to settle in that the girl, indeed, was me. Oh and there was this weird crown shaped mark at the side of my neck. After a bit of staring, I dismissed it as a birthmark.
Right now, I was placed on a bench, watching Percy and Annabeth engage in a sword fight, Annabeth stealing all the victories. Then, just as I decided to help Percy and distract Annabeth, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Desiree?"
I turned to meet dark, orange eyes. Leo. I smiled. "Hey! Wanna sit?" He grinned and sat down. A part of me was curious. After avoiding me for a while, he suddenly talks to me? There has to be an ulterior motive.
Charm speak, Attractive, Breath taking Desiree activated.
I turned to Leo, leaning a little closer and had to bite back a smile when I heard his breathing increase rapidly.
"Is there something you want me to know?"
I looked him in the eyes, biting my lower lip, just like Dylan had taught me. He would be so proud of me right now. Then, I slid back and shot him a charming smile. "C'mon, tell me..." Leo couldn't fight it. I noticed his dark orange eyes return to their auburn shade, easing his nervousness.
"Iwasjustwonderingifyou'dliketogoout?"
My breath caught in my throat. I stared at Leo with wide eyes. "What?"
"Umm... I was just wondering if you wanted to go out..?" I had to hold back a gasp. What was he thinking? Did he really want to go out with me? Wow...
But I couldn't let him down and hurt his feelings. Besides, a small part of me was begging me to say yes. And so I said it.
"Sure." He turned to me and gave me a wide smile, reviving the tugging feeling in my stomach again.
