Finally! After a lot of "YIKES!" and "DID I REALLY JUST WRITE THAT?" moments, the chapter is ready!

I hope it's long, I mean, I did spend two days on it... :)

ENJOY! ;) (Some more "Deo" action in this...) ;)

I shot up, my eyes taking in the shocked expression on everyone's face. Maybe they were shocked because of the fact that I did just shoot up without wincing or it was something else, but the reason of my shock was Nico.

"Nico?" I whispered, staring at the son of Hades. He shot me a grin, and that surprised everyone. "Hey! Just visiting my favourite Aphrodite girl!" When Leo shot him a glare, he threw his hands up in surrender. "I was joking Leo, calm down."

Funny how he was the brooding, tired, depressed one on the Argo II, as everyone had described and now he was the happy, upbeat person.

Wait, had I done that to him? Oh...wow. Did I really heal Nico Di Angelo? He wasn't really a part of my original plan to heal the Seven but hey, whatever. At least I helped him!

Guess I really am worth something. Who would've thought that? A small, revenge-seeking part of my brain silently yelled, "TAKE THAT, ASHLYN!"

"Desiree?" Leo called softly, making me turn to face him. He looked tired, yet his eyes were bright and alive, now shining a bright orange. It was almost as if I could see a flame dancing in them, right at the centre, beautifully making me fall victim to his eyes.

"Yeah?" I called back, knowing I had responded late. It was if we were the only ones in there, nobody else staring at us. It was almost as if we weren't aware that everyone else was watching us, their eyes following our every move.

"How are you?" He asked, stepping forward, making me lean back slightly. He didn't stop though, even if he noticed. "I'm f-fine..."  I responded, stammering. A smirk formed on his lips and I rolled my eyes. The Leo I knew was back.

"Great. C'mon, let's get out of here. You need some air." Everyone got the message and slowly left the cabin, making Zack, Leo and I the last ones in. "You know, when I said that I meant for you to leave too." Leo said, shooting Zack a pointed look.

"Who said I'd take orders from you? I leave only if she wants me to." Zack grinned at this, as if he knew I wasn't going to kick his arrogant butt out. "Oh really? Zack, get out." His grin dropped. He gave me an 'are-you-serious' look and I glared at him.

"You're a part of my past, somewhere I never want to go. If you want to start over as friends, I'm all down for it. But if you have a single thought in your head, telling you I'm going to take you back, here's the truth:I won't. So either make me hate you for the rest of your life or let us just go back to what we were...friends."

Zack shook his head. "You really have changed...and I don't know whether I like this Desiree or not." And with that, he left.

Leo still had a smirk on his face as he held out a hand for to me to take. He gently pulled me out of bed and I was glad I'd been dressed in fresh clothes. "So, you chose me over him huh?" I playfully narrowed my eyes at him. "Whaaat? No! What if I'm just trying to make him jealous by using you?"

He had a mock hurt expression on his face and he gasped. "You wouldn't dare use Valdez for your dirty work!" I laughed. "Oh, I would."

Both of burst out laughing when we realized how perverted that sounded. "You know what?" Leo asked, taking my hand as we stepped outside, hand in hand. I turned to look at him. "What?"
