"The Story She Remembers"
Once I belonged to you
It seems like an old tale.
Our wishes finally came true
And our love finally set sail.
But that was the story
That was the past
Of the lonely young boy
And girl seeking love too fast.
They filled eachother's gaps,
Made eachother smile.
Finding love through their maps,
Life seemed more worthwhile.
He needed someone to talk to
The girl needed happiness.
So it was something they couldn't undo
They fell with love as the witness.
But things started to turn around
The world went against them.
Difficulties came unbound,
The flower fell off the stem.
They wanted to stay,
Feeling together they belonged.
But then there came the day
Their hearts by reality were wronged.
As time continues racing,
She still remembers.
She'll continue chasing
The story of her and the lonely boy
No matter how many Decembers.
