As we both put down our phones, we glanced over at each other in an awkward manner. I knew I had to break the silence "Hey can I ask you something?" I ask her. "For sure" Meredith replies. I was so nervous but I needed to know the truth. "Um um um....how do you really feel about me and this?" I say trying to play it cool. " Um well, I see you as more as a bigger brother like Trent you know what I mean? I also have feelings for Jack, I'm sorry" Meredith breaks the news to me and my heart instantly breaks.
I was, so do I just wanted to get out, " Meredith get up, i'm dropping you back home," I said getting up, " But Dustin we just came like 15 minutes ago" She spoke back, " I SAID GET UP NOW!" I yelled and walking to where the exit is, " Why the heck, would you scream at me Dustin" She walked away also exiting, " I'm sorry Meredith" I apologised facing her standing up, " It's okay" She responded to me with a hug.
" Dustin you are more like a big brother to me you're a friend that I trust" She whispered then letting go away from the hug, " You know that I'll be there for you whenever you need" I winked at her going to the car.
