Author's Note and My First One-shot!

hello readers! I am the author (u know that) but you can call me Freyja. Before we get into my first oneshot, I have some information for you. All art is not mine unless otherwise stated.

this is my first book, so no hate plz. And no swearing in the comments either! and the rules on requests are:

no yandere reader or sans

Just Like The Old Times

"kiddo...I don't know why...you did this..." you heard him say. You wanted this over. You wanted him gone. The knife in your hand dripped blood onto the floor, the blade shining, dripping with blood. You didn't say a word.

You used to have a strong bond with sans, ever since you first fell into the underground. You had both noticed something strange whenever you would reset, however. Each time you would reset, a golden flower would appear on your head, much like a crown. When he first told you,he could remember the resets, you were shocked. However, you still remained friends. Maybe a bit more.

"...I don't get it. Why kid?" you ignored him, and took a step forward. You smiled your Chara-like smile.  He sighed. "Sorry old lady. This is why I never make promises," he says, before you entered the fight.

You gripped the knife and pressed fight. He dodged expertly as you repeatedly failed to land an attack while you dodged his attacks with similar ease.

*sans. 1 atk, 1 def. cant keep dodging forever. Keep attacking.

You eventually got hit, died, and then you reappeared in the hall. But this time something felt different. The fight began again. This time you didn't try attacks. You dodged though, but didn't fight back. You kept checking him. regret filled your s/c soul.

"kiddo? Aren't you going to fight back?" your hand shook over the act button. You then shifted your hand.

*mercy

*spare

You through the knife onto the tiles behind you and broke down in tears, falling on your aching knees. You couldn't take it. Sans stood there, confused. You stood up and grabbed the knife.

"I'm sorry sans. I take it all back. This is goodbye," you said, and plunged the knife deep into your chest, blood pouring out as you collapsed onto the floor. You were dead.

"Y/N!" he yelled, running to your limp body. He removed the knife encased in your blood, just as everything reset. Tears flowed silently down your face.

"S-sans...I don't want to d-do this..." you prepared to stab yourself again. "I r-really don't..." 

"sweetheart please!" he grabbed your other hand to stop you from struggling. "don't do this again. You may have killed my friends, but I know this isn't you," you broke down in tears.

"S-sans...im so sorry..." he pulled you into a hug, making you blush. "I know what I have to do!" you let go, the reset and continue buttons appeared.

"I'll see you in the next run, kiddo," said Sans as the world dissolved and you reappeared in the ruins.

You ran out of the ruins after saying goodbye to Toriel and into the freezing snow. You began to walk towards Snowdin, but then heard a branch break behind you. You turned around and saw sans. You ran up to him and hugged him.

"sans I'm sorry for the last run!" you murmured.

"don't worry kiddo...that was the last run...we're here now..." he lets you go and brushes a tear of your cheek.

"I'm really sorry..." you said again. You looked up at him. You went to speak again but felt pressure being applied to your lips. You realised he was kissing you but didn't break it, and slowly returned his kiss with one of your own.

"kiddo?"

"s-sans?!" you were shocked. He had flirted with you in the past, but never knew he meant it. You turned your flustered face up to him and smiled.

"come on kiddo. Wanna go to grillbys?"

"sure sans. Just like the old times." You grinned. "but you should pay your tab for each timeline you didn't!"

"Y/N!!"
