So this year I decided that I wanted our Christmas lights up before Halloween. Save the comments about it being to early. To me, there's no such thing. Lol.
My husband is a bit of a rollie pollie these days and gave me a disparaging look before getting to work. After getting half the lights up, he comes down and swears that he was about to fall off the roof. This is what happened in my head.
Actually it was closer to the scene in Christmas Vacation where Clark falls off the roof, but you get the picture. Either way, I'm laughing. My husband was not amused and our house is still only half done. Go figure.
Apparently karma sided with my husband because last week my tree just fell over. I tried to pick it up and save it, but the beast fell over again. So I had to take it down completely because the base was completely broken. It's now in the closet and we have a half tree substitute, best not to ask how we ended up with a half tree. Although that story is pretty hilarious too.
So this year has been pretty exciting. Kind of afraid to see what's going to happen on New Year's though. Lol.
Hope you all are holding up. Remember to laugh at the things that totally infuriate you, it makes you feel better.
