finn could hear everything that was going on around him, he wanted to respond, he wanted to engulf (y/n) in a huge hug, he wanted to kiss her and assure her everything will be alright.
but he couldn't.
he couldn't move, he couldn't talk, he couldn't do anything and it sucked.
it was the worst feeling imaginable. to be awake but to not be awake.
"hey finn," (y/n) sighed, "i miss you so much." she laughed at how crazy all of this was.
"i love you a lot, by the way, and i'm sorry for causing this."
finn heard her break down again, this was the worst part of it all. hearing her cry and not being able to do anything about it.
i love you too.
