I wait for him to pick up the call while nibbling on my lower lip and my fingers playing with its nails.

After almost 11 rings and a huge amount of loss in my patience, the call is picked up. I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding and wait for him to speak, while walking towards my locker.

When no one speaks, my mouth decides to speak some real facepalm-worthy words, "I am literally shook"

I hear someone chuckle, "I know I'm pretty good at it"

I clench my jaw and roll my eyes before speaking, "Care to explain?"

"Well, I'll be able to explain it better in bed becau-"

"No you fuckturd, explain the 'I haven't seen you in long time' part"

A silence settles over for a minute before he sighs, "I-I can explain, I will explain, I promise trust me. But not right now."

"Then when?"

"When the right time comes."

"And when will that right time come?"

"Soon. I promise"

"Well I hope you don't break promises, because I'm very curious"

"Don't worry, I'm a keeper"

We both fall silent again and all I hear from the other side is his breathing. I shift my phone to my other ear before breaking the ice, "So what's your name?"

"Nik, call me Nik." That name kinda sounded familiar.

"Okay, and I'm guessing you probably know my name already". I joke.

"Chloe Waters."

I stop dead on my tracks and my eyes widen. He actually knows my name. And trust me that creeped me out to no extent.

"H-how?"

"Okay let's do this the traditional way, hi I'm Nik, what is your name?"

"Uh-um I'm Chloe"

"Well, hii Chloe"

How on earth can he be so chill about this? I mean, didn't he call me a stranger the first day he texted? Who is this guy? Is he some crazy stalker planning my kidnap and probably murder? What am I supposed to do? Call 911? Alert the cops? Tell an adult?
I'm interrupted in my thinking, "hello?"

"How do you know my name?"

"Uhh..."

"How. Do. You. Know. My. Name?"

"Woah Woah chill, you know there's this app which identifies all unknown numbers?"
