💚Chapter Fifty Four💚

+Stephanie's Pov+

I pulled up into the driveway. Peep came outside and I parked the motorcycle. Elizabeth took off her helmet then smiled at me slightly.

"You've got this. But remember..you have to listen to him too."

I smiled back and she walked into the house. Peep walked towards me. I got off the bike.

"I'm sorry for earlier Stephanie. I didn't mean to call you selfish. I was scared and I was angry because I thought I was about to lose you and I can't lose you because you're the center of everything in my world and I can't-."

I kissed him on the lips with all the love I had in me. Wrapping my arms around his neck. Then I hugged him. He hugged me tighter as he started crying.

"I'm sorry Gus that I did that to you."

I leaned out of the hug and rested my hand on his face. Looking into his dough brown eyes.

"I may not think I'm worth my life..but I made you a promise. We live for each other. Because I love you so much I can't break that promise because you've done nothing but be kind to me, you take care of me, you treat me with the utmost respect, you treat me way more than I think my own worth is, like a goddess. I feel like a queen when I'm with you. Like I can do or be anything I want. You taught me that being weird is great, you taught me love is real, you taught me how to just be myself and love it. I owe you the world but the least I could do for right now is live for you because you're doing it for me."

Tears were running down his face and I smiled at him as I wiped them away.

"I love you Stephanie." "I love you too baby."

He kissed me and I felt like I was flying. Everything felt normal again.

"Can't believe you just sneak out of hospitals like that."

We started laughing and then I kissed him one more time. When we stopped Jamie was coming outside.

"I'll leave you two alone."

I smiled at him and he kissed my forehead then went back inside the house. She already had tears in her eyes as she started to speak.

"I'm so so so so so so sorry Stephanie. I know that what I said was so wrong. I just was worried you wouldn't make it and I was just wondering why you did it. I was disappointed in myself because I couldn't be there when you needed me. I was too late. Seeing you like that...blood just spilling out and you were passed out and...I just..I didn't know what to do. Please forgive me."

She cried harder. I opened my arms to her and she jumped into them. I held her and she cried into my shirt. I rubbed her hair and just comforted her.

"Shhh. Its okay. I forgive you. I'll always forgive you. You're my best friend. Who else would I make stupid videos with that make us laugh later or argue what tv show is best or talk about how men are shit? Ours aren't but you get the point."

She giggled a little bit then started wiping her tears.

"You've forgiven me for some of the stuff I've done. I have no place to judge you. What I did was selfish. I have a job here and that's to take care of the people who are right in front of me. You've been there for me through everything. I have to return the favor. Like seeing who you get married to in the future or what your kids are gonna look like or how we'll look when we grow old. Dying naturally." "I love you Steph." "I love you too J." "I seen that video of you dancing. You never told me you could dance."

I started blushing and she smiled.

"Well how about we get some of that ice cream out of my freezer and watch a movie. Like a double date at the house." "That sounds relaxing." "After you."

She smiled again then we went inside. I locked the door behind us then plopped down onto Peep's lap on the couch. Jamie sat in Tracy's lap on the love seat.

"Baby?" "Yes?" "Me and Jamie thought we could have like..a double date here in the livingroom tonight. We can watch movies while we eat ice cream." "Only 5 words. Do you have cookie dough?"

Jamie looked at him with squinty eyes.

"Uh oh." "I'm gonna get to it first." "Not if I do."

I looked between the two of them and I got off Peep's lap. They both ran into the kitchen at the same time but Jamie got to it first.

"Yes!" "You can share!" "No cause I won fair and square."

He smacked his lips like a child while me, Elizabeth, and Tracy were just laughing.

Then Elizabeth said after she yawned,"Hey I think I'm gonna hit the hay for the night guys."

I smiled at her.

"You sure Liz? There's other ice creams in there and we'll be watching horrorrrr."

She smiled back at me.

"I'm actually pretty tired. Maybe another time. I'll see you in the morning." "Okay good night hon." "Goodnight."

She gave me one last hug before she walked upstairs. Peep sat me back in his lap.

"I can go get some more cookie dough ice cream from the store if you want me to." "Awww. Its sweet that you'd do that for me but its getting kinda late out and its not that serious." "Well I think I've got some vanilla kind with chocolate chunks in it." "That's good. You'll feed it to me?" "Sure baby."

I went to go get it then I came with it along with 2 spoons. I sat next to him and opened it then he pulled me back into his lap. He was so comfortable I swear. He was really warm too. We ended up playing the movie home and we just watched movies together while eating ice cream.
