The next few days went by smoothly for Y/N in class. The guys seemed very nice, respectful, and helpful to her. Though Y/N began seeing a pattern emerging whenever they would start building projects in the workshop... No one let her do anything.

To most it appeared like everyone was just being helpful and offering to do things. But, it became so redundant that it was a bit annoying. As soon as she tried to pick up a heavy object, someone would come by to pick it up for her.

When pointy objects were supposed to be used, people wanted to "show" her how to properly use it. It was honestly starting to get on the girl's nerves. She came to school to learn, not have people do things for her. One day the class seemed to be receiving supplies for the Architecture Department.

All the guys were helping bring the supplies into the class. "What should I do?", Y/N asked, ready to help wherever she was needed. "Just supervise. We don't want you to get hurt", Jace explained politely. "Oh... right", Y/N agreed half heartedly catching EunTae's eye but looked away quickly.

Y/N began making her way back into class... Sure the guys were nice and helpful... But she didn't really feel like part of the class... Even though people saw her as normal, she still wasn't the same.

-Later that evening-

"What's wrong N/N?", Mina asked, watching her niece pick at her food. "... I just... Being normal isn't what I thought it'd be like", the girl explained, adding air quotes around "normal". "Hmmm... I see... Well, normal is overrated anyway", the girl's aunt waved off.

"I know it's hard to do, just being yourself. But, it becomes so much harder to deny that aspect of yourself over time", Mina lectured. "Wouldn't it be nice to go to school and just be yourself?", the woman continued asking.

"... But... What if they make fun of me again?", the girl asked quietly. "Then you show them that no matter what they say, you're happy being who you are", the woman retorted simply. "Easier said than done", the Hgt girl mumbled to herself. "That's an understatement. Now swallow your food!", the woman commanded.

-Next Day-

It was finally the weekend and Y/N was free. She was still annoyed about what was happening at school, it didn't seem fair to her. And every time the B/T girl was upset she wanted to build something to keep her mind off of it. She decided to draw up plans for Buddy's house and began writing down potential materials she would need.

Luckily there was a recommended place to get supplies from, courtesy of the school. If you were a student of the Architecture Department, you could get a discount. Y/N arrived to the shop where a kind middle aged man was working the counter.

"Hello young lady, did your father send you down here to place an order", the man asked. "I don't have a father", the girl began bluntly, earning a surprised look from the man. "But don't feel bad, this order is actually for me. I'm a student of the Architecture Department at Jae Won High", the girl explained, showing her student I.D.

"I didn't know they had any girls in that department", the man mused as he looked at her I.D. "I just transferred and was surprised myself", the girl said as she brought out a list. "All right, I'm going to need-... Why aren't you writing this down?", the girl asked, not seeing the man move.

"You sure you should be working on projects outside of class?", the man asked before the girl slammed her hand down on the table. "Listen! I am so sick of everyone thinking that I'm some delicate flower! The school encourages independent works, now please write down my damn order! You're getting money either way!", the girl shouted, feeling frustrated.

"Y-yes, I'm sorry", the man apologized before pulling out an order sheet. The girl began giving out her order to the man who silently wrote it down. "... some plywood panels and roofing cement", the girl finished as she put her list away.

"Should be here within the week", the man said as he filed the paper and gave her a receipt for how much the materials would cost. "Thank you... And sorry for yelling... Please just treat me like one of the other students", the E/Clr eyed girl said, feeling bad that she yelled at the man.

"Not a problem, I get angry outbursts in here all the time. All right kid, have a good day", the man waved politely as the girl walked out. "Y/N?", someone asked suddenly earning the Hgt girl's attention. She turned to see Jace and EunTae with a few others from class walking up.

"Hey guys", she waved at them as they stopped in front of her. It was still intimidating how the entire class towered over her. "What're you up to?", the large eared man inquired, seeing as she just exited the hardware store.

"I was just placing an order for a project I'm working on", the girl announced happily as she pointed behind her. "Really? Need help with it?", Jace offered politely as the rest nodded in agreement. "Nah, I can handle it", the girl waved off simply.

"You sure you don't need help carrying supplies? I'm sure the guys wou-", Jace began. "Stop", the girl interrupted as the guys seemed to give her a weird look. "I said stop it!", the Hgt girl shouted, startling the group.

"I don't need your help! I never asked for it! I'm not some poor, weak, helpless girl who needs rescuing!", the girl began ranting. "I've worked on plenty of projects all on my own! I didn't need help then and I don't now!", Y/N finished as she turned away from the group.

"... Just leave me alone", the girl said quietly as she walked away. Y/N felt bad for yelling at the group but, it was for the best. She just hoped they got the message to leave her be. Little did she know the damage that had just been done.

-Back to School-

The weekend passed by as usual, and Y/N had a lot of fun planning the dog house. When she got back to school, however, things changed. All the guys began ignoring her, like she didn't exist.

At least she could work on projects without them hovering... But, now she had no one to talk to, no friends... Not that they were friends to begin with. She ate lunch by herself, worked by herself, and studied by herself.

"One step forward... Two steps back", the B/T girl thought as she went home at the end of the week. There was probably a better way to tell them that she just wanted to be treated like a regular student. She should've apologized like she had to the hardware store worker... But she went the whole week without talking to them... It would be awkward to do it now.

"What am I gonna do?", the H/Clr haired girl sighed as she made it home. She would have to figure it out during the weekend. Hopefully she could think of something to say or do.
