Chapter 12; I like mushroom stews

It has been a few weeks since the summer festival and nothing have changed between Tamaki and I. Kyoya, Tamaki and Ruka were over at my house to have a study session in preparation of tests when the school re-opens. The sky outside transact from a bright azure blue sky to a grey one, soon it started to rain heavily. I walked towards the window and closed them one by one to prevent the rain from splattering into the room. 

I looked over my shoulder "Hey, did you guys brought an umbrella or have someone to drive you home? It's starting to rain pretty heavily."

Kyoya pushes up his glasses, "I have someone driving me home"

"I think I brought an umbrella..." Ruka dug through her purse "Found it!"

"Tamaki? How about you? I can have Ren to drive you back if you like." I glanced over at him. Tamaki scratched the back of his neck "It's alright, my jacket is enough. I have somewhere to stop by anyway". 

"You sure? It's pouring really heavily!"

"Yeah!"

Our study session soon comes to an end and they are starting to pack up to leave. The rain shows no sign of dying down and it was getting late. I walked them to the front door. I once again asked Tamaki if he is sure that he doesn't want Ren to drive him home, but he just brushed me off.

"Alright guys, be careful on your way back!"

"Bye"

"Buh bye~!"

"Bye (Y/N)"

-Time skip to next day-

~Ding Dong~

The last bell of the day chime. I straighten the stack of worksheets in your hands and have a small chat with Ruka who was sitting on your desk

"Sigh...Tamaki never showed up to class in the end huh?" I pouted

"Well he was the one that thinks that his jacket can hold up the heavy rain" Ruka giggled

"I'll be stopping by Tamaki's house to give him some assignments, do you want to tag along" I dart your eyes up at Ruka

"Hmm..Nah. You and Tamaki should have some alone times, haha, I have places to go to anyway"

"Hey!" I lightly punch Ruka's shoulder and she giggles"

I message him to inform him that I will be coming over but received no reply

(Y/N): Tamaki, I'm coming over, are you getting better yet? (message received)

He hasn't seen the message yet... Guess I'll just go over

I unlocked the door was the spare key I received the last time I was at his house ' He must really trust me, huh?'

"Tamaki? I'm coming in.."

 The door creaked open, but I only met silence.'Maybe he is resting in his room?'I open the door to his room, poking my head in. Tamaki was sleeping soundly, facing the wall as his chest rises from his breathing. His hair was tousled and the blanket was tangled with his long legs

I walked over to him, I dug throw my bag for his worksheets and placed them on the nightstand. I reach out to ruffle his blond hair 'Serve you right for not accepting my offer..'

"H-hmm...?" Tamaki's purple eyes fluttered open and he grabs my wrist, his long slender finger wrapping around my small wrist loosely

"A-ah, Good evening sleeping beauty" I giggled

"(Y-Y/n)? Why are you here?"

"I came by to drop some worksheet, I sent you a message but you never read it!" I pouted, taking my phone, flashing our conversation and the last message I sent him

"Oh, really? Sorry..." He lets go of my hand and brush his silky hair back with his finger, letting out a yawn

I placed my bag on night retrieve and sat on the edge of the bed "How are you feeling now?"

"I feel much better than in the morning, I'm hungry though"

"I can cook if you like?"

"C-can you..?" He blushed

~Time skip~

"Say...Ah~" 

"What..? I can feed mysel-"

"Oh shush! I always wanted to try doing this!"

"A-Ahh...?"

"Hehe!"

I prepared a mushroom stew for Tamaki, feeding him with a teasing smirk plastered on my face. His face was red and he gripped onto the comforter tightly from embarrassment

"The last bite!" I scraped the bowl clean with the spoon and present him the last bite 

"There we go!" I chuckled

I placed the whole on the nightstand, before leaning over and place my forehead above his to check his temperature. "Hmm...You're still a little feverish, a night of rest and you should be alright tomorrow! Haha, doesn't this remind you when we first met?" You give him a heartwarming smile and you pull away

Tamaki's eyes widen and his lips parted, suddenly he grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. He wrapped his arm around me tightly and hide his face in the crook of my neck. I snaked my arms under his arms and held onto his shoulder.

"T-Tamaki?"

"Can we please just stay like this for a while?"

A few minutes passed, I could feel his warm breath on my neck and his warm body against mine. I relaxed into his embrace and wrapped my arms around him too, softly stroking his broad back.

He started to pull away, "Sorry, you were just too cute for me to resist..." He shifts his arms to cradle my face into his big warm palm, tucking a lock hair behind my ear before he brings his forehead towards mine. Pink hues fill his cheek, he shyly stared into my eyes with his limpid purples ones as he bites his lower lips

Feeling flustered, I dart my eyes to the side. I blushed harder when his thumb caringly caresses my already warm cheeks. 

"(Y/n)

"Y-yes?!" I squeaked

"(Y/n)...You're so beautiful...Will you be mine?"
