chapter 77- oh dear Astoria

"Astoria listen it's gonna be ok, my brother can be a right pig but you don't need him you are so much better than him or any of the shanks he has slept with" I say stroking her long hair the air is cold I had caught her all the way outside until she stopped collapsing to the floor in tears

"I just, I dunno" she says stumbling to say her words we were leant against the stone cold wall of the castle

"Do you know I was gonna tell him I love him, although it may not be a big things but I have never felt that before, love, never from my parents they just wanted me to be the best death eater ever never just their daughter that would try be enough, so I had finally gathered all my courage to say it and now this happened, how am I ever gonna be able to love and truth anyone again" she says breaking for tears to burst out her mascara staining the area around her eyes black all streaky as though someone had tipped black face on her eyes, her eyes themselves were red and blood shot

"Oh Asty" I say pulling her into a tight hug wrapping my arms around her slumped frame we stayed like that for a while nothing to here buy the sounds of the midnight nature

"Come on let's get out the cold you can stay in my common room tonight" I say pulling her inside she wrapped her jacket tighter around herself

The warmth hit us when we got in my body stopped shivering and my teeth stopped chattering

When we walked into my common room I saw draco he was sat on the couch reading a book, his head snapped to the door when he saw us and rushes over to help me carry Astoria

"Draco he cheated" Astoria whined in a drunken tone faking into him

"Hey hey, it's gonna be ok let's get you into a bed and you can sleep" he said taking her off me and picking her up and walking to tell stairs

He turned around and motioned for me to get get her a glass of water and he would take her to bed I went into the kitchen and got some water and took it to my room where she was sleeping she was already out like a light switch lay across the whole bed like a star fish

"Thanks for helping me" I say to draco as I put the water next to her bed

"It's fine Astoria has been one of my closest friends since we were like 5 I would always look out for her" he said kissing my head I ruffled his platinum blonde hair he put his arm round my shoulder and we decided we were both really rired and wanted to go to bed so we went back to his room i borrowed one of his shorts as didn't want to go into my room and risk waking up Astoria she needed as much sleeping as she could,

We went to sleep in each others arms both knowing that day would be the last day we would be happy for a while and the next at our lives would change so much we wouldn't be able to recognise our of lives,
