Reys pov
We climbed aboard the ship and I pointed the man to the gun controls while I went to the pilot seat and began to fly the ship .
I decided to make one stop first
The ewalker home
I have to get my droid R2 D2
He has been with me for as long as I can remember
I can abandon him now
We stop outside the ewalker and I run out shouting on the droid who comes wheeling out of the door bleeping a hello
" yes hello R2 but I'm sorry we need to go come on"
He beeps again saying okay
Then he stops and scans the ship and if you can picture shock and fear on a droid then that's what he looked like
" come we need to hurry " I shout at R2
He wheels along as fast as he can onto the ship and I run back to the pilots seat and take off again
It was just in time because 4 tiefighters flew towards us
The man shot the cannons and guns and hit one of them
But we were taking hits because the shield wasn't up and I stretched across to flick the switch that turned it on
The man hit another tie fighter but we still had another two on our tail
"Hold on I'll get us some cover" I shouted
So I flew into and old ship wrecked star destroyer ship and one tie fighter got shot down and we have one left
Then the man shouts in frustration to me " the gun is stuck in forwards position "
" okay " I shout " get ready to fire "
I fly up and then turn the ship upside down and turn off the the engine so we are falling facing the tie fighter and the man fires hitting it before I put the engine back on and pull the ship up before it hits the ground then I fly it out of jakku 's atmosphere and put it on auto pilot while I go talk to the man
" what's your name " I ask
" Finn , yours " he answers
" Rey " I reply ....
