I hoped upon all hope that she would get an A or A-. I knew it was impossible, because her father was the headmaster-plus the maths teacher. I knew that she would get an A+, i just knew it. I prepared myself when Becky came up to me, grinning wildly i thought the edges of her mouth were going to reach her ears.
"Guess what?"
"What."
"I got an A+ on my maths test so that means..."
"Yeah yeah i get it. Now go away." I turned my back on her and walked away.
"Oh an by the way you MUST bring back a souveneir to prove you were there. So I know that you didn't just hide in your room for a week."
"Fine."
She skipped of, her neon pink hand back swinging in her outstretched hand. I was going. And there was No Way Out.
