"Carl? Are you OK?" "Yeah, I'm fine. I want you to clean it and wrap it. If that's OK with you." Carl said softly with his head down, as if he was ashamed.
You held his face and made him look right at you. "I love you Carl. I always have and I always will. No matter what." "Even though I have this?" Carl asked, pointing to his eye and you nodded.
"It hasn't changed the way I feel about you Carl. I promise." You assured him and he slowly wrapped his arms around you.
